Back in the day when I lived in the lovely state of Wisconsin, we used to judge how well the corn was doing to be by the old saying: "If the corn was knee high by the 4th of July, that the corn was going to be perfect come harvest". Well as you can see, it is June 15th and this corn patch has well exceeded knee high. But this just isn't any corn patch,.,.this is sweet corn! Juicy, succulent sweet corn. I yern for this vege of perfection every fall. You all have seen many of my recipe postings and I use a variety of various ingredients to spice up my dishes. But not when you prepare amazing sweet corn, it simply delicious solo (nothing added). It's making my mouth water just thinking about! Yummy!
