This machine is called the Salford, it is a vertical tillage tool. You would work the ground with this machine, before you would plant your soybeans. The Salford makes a tiddy little bean "like" bed for planting, this way the beans become nestled into the ground properly. Now let me ask you this? Do I sound smart or what? I really had absolutely no idea what this big hunk of metal was, let alone what it was used for. There I said it; now I feel better, YOU KNOW THE TRUTH.
