Opps!

We had alittle Opps-A-Daisy yesterday at the farm. I was away on business, so I did not witness it. Unfortunately, I did not get the as soon as it happened shot. But these will have to do.

The story is as follows: It was a lovely summertime day, the birds were chirping, the fish were jumping around in the pond, the horses were sunning themselves, Ty had just killed a raccoon that was attempting to get into FIL's sweet corn patch, the day was almost too perfect...At approximately 11:45 AM it happened...HH had just went inside the homestead to fix all of the farm hands lunch (HH is a man of many talents), retrieved his handy 3ft pan (he has to make alot of pork burgers, these boys work hard, they need to eat to keep their energy up), he lit the gas stove, then POW, BANG, BAM; HH thought he blew up the house, Wrong. Once he regained consciousness he jetted to the back door then POW, BANG, BAM; HH hit the floor, (I think he thought that the terrorist's were bombing the family farm and they were after all of their crops?) then jumped up and attempted to exit the back door. It was stuck, he was a prisoner trapped in his own home. He heard yelling outside, then sprinted to the front door, (thank goodness it was open) darted to the side of the house (still alittle stunned) looked over to find......a large truck had ran into the side of the house. Opps. Apparently the truck did not want to stay in the parked position and blotted towards the corner of our home. Bad Truck. The nerve. Who knew a truck had a mind of its own. We put a band aid tarp over its wound, pick up all of the bricks, and thanked the good lord above the no one was between the house and the truck that decided to go on a rampage.

Sincerly,

Farming Fabulously

More pic's of the rebuilding process coming in the following days to come.
