Trying To Finish Up With Harvest!

Since this has been such an abnormal year for the farmstead, it has been a real challenge attempting to harvest all of the crops in a timely manner. But it is now time to toot our horns, sound the trumpets, and release the geese to fly south, our 294 acres are harvested! That's right you heard it here first. I give you full permission to go fling into a victorious cart wheel; it is time for celebration my friends!

Although there is still so much more to do before winter gets here, we can at least take a deep breath and begin to look forward to traveling to the tundra. Yes, that's right! The tundra, north country, my Norwegian kinfolk, the land of snow and ice. BRRRRRRR. I get cold just thinking about it. I realize that most people migrate south for the winter (I am still trying to mold HH's brain into this concept), but we load up the snowmobiles and face winter head on. The farmstead just gets gitty once we reach the north country every year. So let the countdown begin boys.....

Sincerely,
Farming Fabulously
