The trucks were lined up eager to be filled with corn and ready to transport it to the closest destination grain bin. You could hear the engines roar with an adrenaline like force. My heart goes an extra piter, pat just thinking about the rapid pace that the FB's (Farm Boy's) endure every year when harvest rolls around. If I only had a pair of pom poms and a charming little cheer leading ensemble, I would so do an encouraging routine. In fact it would go something like this "Fire up the combines, roar up the trucks, it's time for harvest, so lets get fired up!". Excuse me for acting a little goofy, I just can't help it sometimes.
